SUMMARY:5-Day Anatomy for Artists Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Class time from 6:00-9:00pm daily. This 5 day workshop focuses on teaching participants the fundamentals of understanding human anatomy using clay over an existing skeleton armature. Each day of the workshop will cover a specific area of the human figure\, beginning with an overview of the skeletal and muscular anatomy of the area. Through a combination of instructor-led demonstrations and hands-on practice\, participants will learn how to build up clay muscles around the skeleton armature to create a classic ecorche (muscle and bone) study. The instructor will provide individual feedback and guidance to each participant throughout the workshop.
