DESCRIPTION:Discover the joy of sculpting in relief in this hands-on workshop with natural pottery clay. Guided by your passionate instructor\, you will explore the nuances of the relief sculpting. Through step- by-step demonstrations\, participants will experience basic sculpting techniques\, emphasizing the creation of lively and evocative sculptures. \nUsing their own photos or images\, participants will create a unique and original 12 x 12 inch “tile” relief sculpture with specialized pottery clay. \nThis workshop is designed for all skill levels\, fostering a supportive and creative environment where each artist can infuse their unique emotions into the clay\, resulting in a truly expressive and personalized sculpture. \nRenowned Albertan artist and sculpting instructor Ryan Kurylo brings his expertise and passion to every class\, with a gentle approach and enjoyable teaching style he has inspired many to discover\, or re-discover their passion for sculpture. \nParticipants please include $25 for the cost of clay.
